Kura led her people to safety .. away from invaders .. they swam to Te Motu-O-Kura .. ( Bare Island ..

Where did they depart from ? which way did they go?

These are some things I think about when I paint this .. I have heard .. other side was inhabited at some point point. There is an aquifer. It might look bare, but there is always something to see and a presence to be felt .. I only know that I don't know

Last night .. I painted a faint trail a journey line .
